My grandma came to me about a year ago and asked if I would illustrate a collection of short stories she had written throughout her life. Working alongside her, I illustrated and composed her stories in InDesign. I gave her a rough copy for her 97th birthday this year, which felt very special.

I worked as an editor for Northland College's Student Publications team, creating 3 editions in 3 semesters. The pieces in these magazines were submitted by students and Ashland community members, and are near and dear to my heart after Northland College's closing in May 2025.
All three of these editions were printed in a small, 6" x 4" book.

This was a design I made for my roommates and my garage sale. I drew out some fun characters, colored them with watercolor pencils, painted specific areas, and wrote out the title. I then scanned each section and combined them in Adobe Photoshop, adjusting the size to fit Instagram's aspect ratio.
